Filipino Dance Group And Friends Mounts Full-Length show
March 14, Manila PH — Last weekend, audiences were taken back in time. For some , it was a recent experience, for others it was a something that unfolded years ago.
This was High School.
Entitled 2 Love, the full-length show mounted by Filipino dance group And Friends told the story of a certain batch of high schoolers undergoing the different struggles and experiences of growing up. It was a poignant show that filled the stage with tears, sighs, and laughter.
Pain.
Loss.
Disappointment.
Death.
Love.
What else do you remember from high school?
In the show, audiences were brought back to years when life was just beginning and a lot things were happening for the first time. What a time it was for a lot of us!
Local Production 2 Love Brings Honesty in Movement
Strong and authentic performances by the cast brought the journey to life. From 2 Love‘s strong opening; the light, love, and laughter brought by the entire cast; to the pieces crafted by the show’s main choreographers: Mica Burgos, John Tarroza, Lucas Sevilla, Japoy Torrero, Casey, Jayaon, Ga Gabatin, Carlos Serrano, and Lean Manrobang. We also enjoyed that show was interactive, featuring an actual spontaneous dance battle. This kind of elements reeled the audience in even more.
On a whole, the show explores the experience of love in our youth. If you think about it, the basic act of loving never really goes away. It might evolve as life happens, but basically, love is love—and this what we relearned or remembered as we watched the And Friends cast dance with love.

Congratulations again And Friends PH!
Founded in 2022, And Friends PH is a multi-awarded dance group known for humanizing dance through heartfelt shows and pieces that many, including non-dancers, can relate to. Recent wins include gold for Dance Supremacy PH 2024, gold for World of Dance Philippines 2024, as well as silver for Dance Supremacy International Japan (2024, 2025). The group is directed by Lean Manrobang and Carlos Serrano, who are also members of Team Package Makers. This show is a fundraising effort for their upcoming ventures and competitions.
